Research Project
My research focuses on the Wood-Ljungdahl pathway found in acetogens. I am studying genes involved in carbon-fixation in various Clostridia. I also work with the industrial anaerobe, Clostridium acetobutylicum with the aim of improving the yield of fuels and chemicals from renewable feedstocks.
