Research Focus
I study the scale-up of upstream monoclonal antibody production. My research combines experimental lab scale bioreactor work with computational fluid dynamics and kinetic metabolic modeling to increase our understanding of the impact of scale up related heterogeneities and develop models for improved large-scale bioreactor performance.
