Research Focus
My work involves the syntrophic coculture of Clostridium acetobutylicum and Clostridium ljungdahlii for carbon-neutral isopropanol production. My focus includes strain development, primarily with the genetic engineering of Clostridium acetobutylicum for acetone pathway integration, and RNA sequencing analysis of the coculture.
